This prestigious $1,000 scholarship is designed to empower and support promising students who harbor an unwavering passion for cultivating their careers within the dynamic realm of accounting. The purpose of this scholarship is far more than just financial aid, but rather, it is an opportunity for students to alleviate some of the burdens that come with educational expenses. We at Granite Peak Associates want to support young aspiring accounting professionals and provide guidance to them as they navigate the start of their career.
Applicants looking to apply must meet the following criteria:
· Dedication to accounting: We are seeking students who have made the commitment to and are passionate about embarking on an accounting designated career path. We are interested in students who have an undeniable enthusiasm for our field.
· United States residency: Eligible candidates must be a current United States Citizen or a Permanent Resident of the United States, ensuring that the scholarship remains accessible to those local to our firm and able to maintain a relationship with our organization.
Academic Excellence: To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, as a testament of their dedication to scholarly excellence.
· Academic Progression: Applicants should be within their sophomore or junior year and have already committed to a major having to do with accounting and or finance.
Following the rigorous selection process, chosen recipients will be graciously invited to our offices in North Andover, Massachusetts, where they will have the opportunity to participate in a meet and greet session. This will give you a chance to form invaluable connections with members of our organization and allow you the chance to discuss internship and job opportunities available at Granite Peak Associates.
