Melissa Dittman

Accounting Quality Control Specialist

With 18 years of experience in the veterinary field. Melissa began her career in the animal care industry as a kennel technician at a local animal hospital, where she gained valuable experience in animal care handling while finishing her veterinary assisting Certification. She quickly moved up the ranks to become a receptionist and vet assistant, where she developed strong customer service skills and a passion for helping animals. Melissa then switched over to an animal rescue organization where she dedicated her time to helping homeless and neglected animals find loving homes. This further solidified her commitment to animal welfare and advocacy. Eventually, she returned to the hospital setting as a veterinary technician, where she honed her technical skills and knowledge of animal health while attending college to become a certified veterinary technician. She then worked her way up to becoming a hospital manager, leading a team of doctors and veterinary support staff. After managing a hospital for a few years, Melissa quickly found her niche in business/ finance management which widened her horizons and opened a new career opportunity with Granite Peak Associates where she looks forward to helping hospitals set up for success.

As a typical Florida native, Melissa spends her free time with her children boating/kayaking and exploring new rivers and springs. She is currently in school working to obtain a CVPM certification.
