Tim Burns
Accounting Project Manager
Tim has worked in veterinary medicine for over 30 years. He started out working in the kennel in high school and earned an associates degree from Becker College in veterinary technology. Tim managed several practices in New York City, where he also attended Hunter College and earned his BFA. In 2002 he moved to Connecticut and was able to buy into a practice and become a non-dvm owner. He grew the practice from one vet to seven and was able to sell the practice in 2022.
After selling his practice, Tim wanted to stay involved in the veterinary world by helping other veterinarians improve their finances and streamline their operations. Granite Peak Associates helped make this happen.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time on the beach off-roading in Cape Cod with his family. Several times a week he also teaches a spin class at the local gym.
